Kintaline has powerful ancient energies, and these were clearly recognised for millenia. It was a special place in Neolithic times as someone with high status was memorialised with a cremation urn in a burial kist that would have been covered by a massive rock mound. This rock has since been used for the stone wall, beside the road, most likely when agriculture was being improved in the middle 1750s. The route of the road was brought up to the top of the raised beach.
