When we plant trees, we don’t just plant them and forget about them!
This week I spent a few hours in the pouring rain tending to some of the 5,000 saplings we planted earlier this year. Grass grows up inside the tree guards and would choke the tiny tree if left. We carefully lift up the guard, pull out the grass and re-secure the guard.
